The crowd applauded Imbeglin as he went off stage and then slowly dissintergrated into their huts. That night a great feast was held at the great feast hall in honour of the settlements completion. A notice had been placed up as to who would be doing certain jobs like smithy worker and food maker, watchsman and so on. After the feast everyone went to bed and was eager to start as their new role in the settlement the next day. (If you are not on the high council then say what you were selected to do)

Elkith strode over to the notice, with a glass of ale from Lothlorien in his hand. He squinted and saw his name:
ELKITH SIRFALAS: SWORDSMITH
"Well, atleast it is not cleaning Telrunya's hut," He laughed and sipped his cup. He walked over to his small hut and was not seen until morning.

((OOC: I'm resurrecting this thread because I feel it needs to be near the top.))
After many weeks in Fangorn, Imbeglín decided it was time to get some order in the camp. He went over to the notice board, wrote a note on a sheet of parchment in Tengwar so it was easier to read and stuck it on the board.
The message read (in Westron):
Hail, as we have been here for many weeks and have had numerous attacks made on us by those foul scum of Saruman's doing, I believe it is time we get some order and some security set up so as to protect ourselves from further attacks. I propose that a small group (no more than ten in total) go out into Fangorn to find Treebeard and ask him what can be done to protect ourselves from the attacks. Anyone who wants to go must contact Imbeglín, who can be found in his house. Further details shall be provided after the party is filled.
Imbeglín read and re-read the note, and then, pleased with himself, walked off back to his ouse to await any replies.

"Enter", a voice said from the house.
Inside, Imbeglín was preparing a message to take to Treebeard and he was also getting a message ready addressed to the Huorns, to say that the group are there on business with Treebeard about the Orcs, and that they should not be hindered. The problem was, Imbeglín was stuck. "Ah, Elesar, just he person I was looking for. I need some help with this note, it's to the Huorns to say let the group pass. But I'm stuck and don't know whatto put. Could you help me?"...

((OOC: Hope I can still join))
Valandil, dressed in some of his rugged clothes from his past journeys and drinking from his mug also saw the notice. He moved up to it and read it to himself... when he finished he said to himself, "Aye, I believe im up for a stroll in the woods, a good talk with ol' Treebeard, and mayhap a small change a scenery?" With these words he walked over to Imbeglin's hut and he heard conversation inside, it was no doubt Elesar and Imbeglin, so he knocked on the door.

"Enter..." came Imbeglín's voice from inside the hut. Valandir entered the house and at first Imbeglín did not recognise him. "Hello my good frined. Forgive me for his but I have forgotten your name?" With that Imbeglín offered his hand to the elf, who Imbeglín couldn't tell if he had seen him at all, or whether he had just stayed with the main party as they moved in. Anyway, it didn't matter. "I take it your here on account of the notice I added?"...

Valandil took the elf's hand and shook it, "Hile Imbeglin, I am Valandil and I have been with you and yours since when you moved in" Valandil spoke in a friendly manner, "and as you have guessed I have come about the notice, I would like to hear more of this..." with this said Valandil stood awaiting word from Imbeglin

small group......find Treebeard.....protect ourselves from attack....contact Imbeglin....Terondin read through the notice again. It sounded like something interesting to do. The camp had gotten a bit boring in the last few weeks. He quickly made his way across the camp to Imbeglin's hut. Terondin saw the door of the hut slightly open, and voices streaming out, one of which he instantly recognized as Imbeglin's. He walked over and knocked.

"OK, so this is what I want. I need a group of 10 elves to go out, into the heart of Fangorn Forest to find Treebeard and get some advice on how to keep the forest safe." Imbeglin let them take this in, then asked "Any questions?" Just then he heard another knock at the door, and said "Enter..." It was Amras, no doubt there to enquire about the notice. "Excuse me Amras, I must get back to the note, but could one of you please fill him in on what I want to do? Thanks."

"Aye" Valandil spoke to Imbeglin "I'll fill him in," As Imbeglin left the hut he turned to Amras. "Imbeglin is looking for a group of 10 elves to go out, into the heart of Fangorn Forest to find Treebeard and gather some advice from the wise ent on how to keep the forest safe." He stood waiting for a moment and then spoke again, "Oh please forgive me, I am Valandil and I do not believe we have met yet" he then clapped him on the shoulder in a friendly manner and turned to Elesar "I also do not believe we know eachother, but i have seen you around this camp many times, I am Valandil as you have probably heard, and you are Elesar, correct?" With this Valandil offered his hand to this elf.

"Of course" he said to Imbeglin before turning to Fëanáro "My greetings, I am Valandil" he spoke to the keen looking elf as he offered his hand. "If you are here about the notice posted by Imbeglin then I shall fill you in" The young bladesinger paused a moment to sip from his mug and then continued "Imbeglin has requested that a party of 10 elves to go out, into Fangorn Forest to find Treebeard and get some advice from the wise fellow on how we should go about to help keep this forest safe." That being said Valandil downed the remaining liquid from his mug, sat down in a nearby chair and rested his weary eyes

"Well met, Valandil. I'd be honored to be a member of your party, Imbeglín. However, you seem to have mixed my name up with my cousin Amras. I am Terondin." He found an empty spot on the table and leaned against it. "Imbeglín, when do we leave?"
