((OOC: well i still happen to be interested, and Imbeglin just posted so maybe he is too, I cant speak for Elenar but if you arnt interested anymore you dont have to rp here))
It was very dark in the woods where Valandil was walking. He felt perfectly safe however, and his face wore a smile. He was so at ease in the wilderness, especially in the woods. This elven ranger hadn't been out from the elven camp for quite a while, and missed this, and his dear wolf friend Coroak. Valandil leaned up against the tree and inspected his shoulder wound. It still looked pretty bad, and felt even worse. He replaced the cloth, and stood there for some time, thinking, then turned to walk back to his companions

((ooc: Don't worry, I'm still here. As long as this gets posts from other people besides me, I'll post here))
Terondin wolfed down the meager portion Fëanáro passed to him, then settled his stuff down and prepared to sleep. He lay there, awake, listening to see if Valandil had come back, when he heard, far off, a shrill shout that sounded like "Elbereth Gilthoniel". Terondin got up and looked towards the direction he had heard the call. Quizzically, he turned towards Fëanáro, "Did you hear that too?"

Terondin looked back in the direction of the call, and realized it was in the direction of their camp. Were they under attack again? Turning to his companions, Terondin said quickly, "Someone, perhaps Eldar, is in trouble, we must answer!" He picked up his gear and ran off towards the direction of the call.

The fighting had been sudden. The orcs, seeing the camp was weakened, decided to try and finish the camp once and for all. But they had not taken elvish fury into account. The elves, myself included, were not taken fully unawares, even though the attack was larger than I had guessed.
The orcs charged, were beaten back, and charged again. They constantly gained an advantage. But then, there was a horn call in the forest, or at least it sounded like one.
Suddenly, out of the forest stepped three large ents. It was music to my ears to hear them calling, and the orcs squealing like stuck pigs. It was just so beautiful. The orcs were in a rout, when suddenly came their final stroke of doom. The party who had gone out to find Treebeard had returned. A bit injured maybe, but able to fight nonetheless. The orcs seeing their doom, decided to try and fight their way out. Foolish, but brave. None were heard of again.

Valandil sheathed his blade after the orcs were all dead. "Imbeglin" He called up to the elf "Terondin alerted us to your danger, and we came with Treebeard and his fellow ents, figuring you may need some help" He smiled and then turned to Treebeard. "Master ent, this is our leader we spoke of, talk with him if you want." With that Valandil walked off to have his wound tended to.

"Thank you, Valandil" Imbeglín said before turning to Treebeard. "Master Fangorn, thank you for your help, we could not have defended the camp without you. I am glad you have come, it is time we spoke, we need to talk. Away from other ears." Treebeard looked at Imbeglín for a minute, as is his way, and then said (finally, thought Imbeglín) "As you wish, Master Elf, I must admit, I have felt the need to speak with you on these matters. Come with me." And then Treebeard walked slowly into the forest, with Imbeglín close at his heels.

Treebeard said, “I had thought it was about time to visit your camp when we received word from Quickbeam that orcs were making another push into the forest into your land. We came across the main force, which we eliminated. A Hoom , smaller group seamed to have been coming from another direction to hold you in place so the larger task force could strike. Hruum , these orcs are getting bolder by the day. We have received word that the orcs are now cutting trees down! Curse them by root and twig! The storm is coming.”...

"Well, I must say that has cheered me up, albeit slightly due to the losses we have had recently. I hope we can live together in the future, and I should most like to meet some of your fellow ents, if at all possible. Just so I know who to talk to, as you are so well at hiding in between your trees. Who knows, I suppose we probably passed a few of your friends on our way here and didn't notice them." Imbeglin said to Treebeard without much pause. Treebeard was slightly taken aback by the speed of his speech, however, once he had taken it all in, he said "Hoom, you speak fast, young one. However, I think this will be okay, I shall send a message about when you can meet some of the main ents, hurum, now I must go, to sort these things out. Farewell." And with that Treebeard wandered into the forest, and Imbeglin was contemplating following him when he remembered the camp and the fact there may yet be some orcs in the forest that had run away when the fighting started getting too much for them. With a wrench he brought his legs back towards the camp and started walking back, looking cheerier and feeling happier than he had done for a while.

Fëanáro was still packing his things when he saw Treebeard walk past, he took no noticed of Fëanáro as he looked like he was deep in thought, "He better not think as slow as he talks." Thought Fëanáro, he gathered up all his stuff and anything the others had left and began walking back to camp...

Terondin walked the woods near the camp, watchful for any orcs who still might have lingered after the battle. He heard the quiet movements of someone ahead of him, and crept up to a tree and looked. It was Imbeglin. Terondin hurried up to him and bowed, "My lord Imbeglin, well met. That fight was refreshing, if I may say so myself, as we were not as sorely pressed as our last combat."

A young Elf wandered into the camp and looked for the leader to ask if he could stay for a while, he had 3 broken ribs and a nasty cut of the back of his head, he looked like he had just been in combat. His vision was slightly blurry, he saw Feanaro wandering and went to talk to him, "Hello my fair friend could you tell me where the leader of the camp is....." He was swaying slightly and looked like he was going to fall any minute now if he didn't sit down....

"My friend, you do not look so well! Terondin, Valandil, Imbeglín! Somebody get over here and help me move him!" Gelmir had fallen to the ground and was stone cold, it looked like a loss of blood, there was a very nasty cut on the back of his head, looked like he was attacked from behind, Fëanáro began to panic, he didn't know what to do...

Valandil had come out of the tent and started to walk back to his quarters when he heard Feanaro. He sped off to find where he was. When he arrived he saw the elf on the ground. He went over to see if he was still alive, and indeed he was. "Well lets get him up and to the healing quarters." Valandil, with his one good arm, and Feanaro hoisted him up and rested him on their shoulders, then set off for the healing quarters. "Good thing you found him Feanaro, or he might have died. Do you know him at all?"
