"Hmm, that bed did look comfy." and with that Wranti went to his room for the night.

There has been a slight change in plan, nothing serious though.
================== A month has passed since that day now. Over that time the members of the raid have been practicing endlessly, preparing themselves for the raid. There has been much planning going on also. Elrohir and Amras and discovered a partial map of the caves. using this they plotted a reasonably safe pass to the center, where the main evil lurks.
But most importantly, over this time all the elves have become extremely good friends. Which is all needed for what is to come soon. ==================
Elrohir walks down the stairs into the meeting room where all the members are waiting. He walks over, pulls up a large leather chair and sais just one thing,
"It is time."

Elesar enters a room in which Elrohir is sitting in looking over old maps of Moria. "Elrohir, i have heard from one of my men what lurks in the caverns of moria, a creature of shadow and flame, you know of what i speak" said Elesar, "how are we going to deal with this foe?"

Valandil gets up at the news of there departure to be. He runs to his room and gets his equipment. First putting on his ringed armor vest, fitted specifically and perfect for his body. Then his light leather shirt over that. He then strapped on his enchanted scimitars, two full quivers, and his trusted bow. It had taken him some time to get ready and he came down the stairs just as Elesar was asking his question. "Ah yes Elesar" Valandil replied, going to answer the question, "We have a long road ahead of us, and much time to discuss such things, but now we should make haste. Plus we know not else what is in those mines. There may be fouler things than Balrogs in the depths of Moria. Not to worry though, I shall be at your side" Valandil said with a wink and a chuckle as he stood there waiting for the others to be ready

Elesar was content with that answer for now, but hsi mind never stopped thinking about this foe of umimaginable power and how they were going to defeat it. "I'll go and ready my soldiers" Elesar said, and with that he went into a small leater tent his men and him had erected.

Valandil's thoughts too, were on the demon. What a challenge it would be to fight such a beast. He was no fool though, and knew he could not defeat the thing by himself, knew he would not stand a chance. Even so, he still wished to fight it. Valandil was a fighter, a very good one by elven standards, and he loved a good challenge or adventure. And fighting a Balrog would be a great challenge indeed. He let it go though, figuring things would play out as they would, and if he was to fight the thing then he would, no holding back. He turned his thought from it then, back to reality. "Elrohir, I shall ready the horses, so that we may be off" He nodded to his friend and walked off to the stables

Wranti was also pondering on how to rid Moria of the Fire Beast. This was no simple orc that you could just sneak up on and slit its throat. Just then Wranti had an idea. "I may have thought of part of a solution for ridding Moria of the Balrog, but now is not the time. We must ready ourselves."

Valandil did not hear Wranti's comment for he was with the horses. He had them all ready to go and was just finishing packing all the supplies up. He finished and walked back into the meeting room. "The horses are ready, as soon as everyone is ready we can leave." He nodded to those in the room and left again, mounting his horse and taking him outside for a bit of fresh air. He sat atop his horse watching the sun, and basking in its light. How he loved the outside, and how he would miss it in the mines, this may be one of the few days he had left, he would enjoy it as much as he could...

Elesar and his 5 elven soldiers returned out of their small tent bearing their elven blades and Galadhrim bows slung over their shoulders. "We have our own horses" Elesar said as he saw Valandil preparing them, and with that he put his fingers into this mouth and let of a whistle. At that moment an amazing, almost gleaming white horse came galloping through to him. "This is my horse nalama" he told Valandil, "It has seen many battles with me and has travelled through many lands bearing myself on its back, my men have their own horses tied up on the gate outside, we will ready ourselves and our mounts and come back" And with that Elesar and his men departed through the gate to get ready for the adventure.

Elrohir stood up from his padded leather chair and walked out into to gleaming, embracing sunlight. He would miss the sun, the grass, the life, he would miss it all, but he knew it was worth it.
He strode over to the stables where his own horse was mounted. After a few minutes of preparing the horse and feeding it, he led it out onto the courtyard. He then tied it up to a nearby branch and headed back inside to ready his equipment.
It had been thirty, mabye forty minutes when Elrohir came walking down the stairs again. This time though, he was clad in a tough looking leather melded with chainmail armour. It was light, yet strong. Over his back lay a medium sized bow, a strange, foreign looking pattern ran along the entire length of it. At his waist was a medium sized sword aswell. The case for the sword had another strange looking pattern running along it, no doubt it was the same pattern that was running along the bow. Finally, on his back was a cape, it was pure black with a large symbol on the back. The symbol is unrecogniseable.
He walked outside into the glistening sunlight once more, and strode over to his waiting comrades. He pulled up his horse and jumped onto it.
"Shall we leave?"

"And to the end of many lives, bad and goodly races alike" Valandil said under his breath, so that nobody could hear him. "Lets be off" He shouted to the others as he moved his horse into a steady and easy walk. WIth that, the companions, the friends, set off for Moria...

With those words from Valandil the group set off towards Moria. They all knew it was to be a very long journey, but Elrohir believed that they were prepared well enough. They each had a considerable amount of rations and their own weapons. On Elrohirs horse was packed a fire making kit and some maps to guide them to there.

Elesar and his 5 elven warriors of eryn vorn trotted alongside the group, quietly speaking plans of elvish amongst eachother. Then one of them said, "I suggest we stop at the elven town of Rivendell on the way there, i'm sure Elrond and his elves would give us a fine welcome, what do you think?"

"That is a good idea Elesar, but Rivendell is a fair ride away from here, it will take us a few days of traveling to get there. Netherteless though, we will head in that direction."
