Elrohirs horse sped on along the path, in normal circumstances it would be winning this race, but at the moment his horse had way too many supplies to carry to be doing a race. So he lingered steadily at the back of the crowd, enjoying the brisk, cool wind on his face.
The party rode up a large hill, and they all knew what they would see at teh top. When they got there they were rewarded with a magnificant view of Rivendell. The waterfalls cascaded down the rock faces effortlessly, andthe sun shone on every tree, revealing beautiful and vibrant leaves growing from them. Elrohir smiled, and rode down the hill towards the doors.

Merwin ended up in 3rd place. "Nice job everyone, that was quite a race." But at the sight of Lord Elrond, hhe fell silent. "Welcome, elves," he said.

Valandil had been to Rivendell a great many times, and the place never ceased to amaze him. He gracefully got off his horse. He looked at Elrond, they had become friends on his many journeys to Rivendell. He led his horse past Elrond, nodding to the wise elf as he past and simply saying "Lord Elrond" adressing him, and Elrond simply nodded back, they needed no formal greetings to eachother. Valandil stopped a little past him and turned back. "My friends, I will be at the stables putting my horse in, then I will most likely be getting some food if you wish to find me" he paused for a little "Have fun" he said and flashed a smile, then turned away and walked his horse to the stables.

Elenar was just finishing brushing down his chestnut mare when Valandil walked into the stables of Imladris. The look on his face revealed everything. Elenar laughed. "Didn't expect to see me here? Don't forget, the Big House is my home, and has been ever since it's founding. And being so, there's a few, shortcuts, I know, mostly just hunter paths, but enough for me."

It is my pleasure to have meet you." Elrond with a smile says "you have been here before, but without having meet me. You where very very sneaky." Enjoi bows again and begins exploring rivendell.....The laides here are most beutiful....

Merwin reached with a smile for a goblet stationed on an endtable, but Elesar gives him a look of warning. "So, Elrond." Merwin said,"How are things in the far world, I must know, for we are going to moria."

Elrohir is last to walk through the gates of Rivendell. He jumps off his horse and lands with a silent thud onto the ground. He bows to Elrond and immediately they both smile, and clap each other on the shoulder, "Welcome Lord Elrond, it is good to see you again. But im afraid these arn't times to rejoice, these are serious times. Please, come inside, i must speak to you." Elrohir quickly ties up his horse with deft hands and leads Elrond into a small, secluded room, its is obvious that he knows his way round Rivendell very well.
"I have made a decision Elrond, and i pray that it is the right one. I have decided that we are to retake Moria and slay the evil within it. That is why we are here: we must stock up on supplies one last time before we set off once more. We have already encountered a scout group of orcs on our way here, who knows what we will meet on the way to Moria."

Merwin was bored, bored, bored. He needed some type of a thrill, but he remembered Elrohir's words, "If you leave this room, you may not go to moria with us, sorry, but it is to make sure you don't do anything stupid." Yeah, stupid. merwin thought, I would never do anything stupid. Maybe if I pretend there is a fire, Enjoi, Blackheart, or someone else would come in with water. That would be funny...

enjoi was discovering how wonderful a place like this could be. He has heard Lothlorien (sp) was even more beutiful. He would have to see it for himself....if he was to make it through Moria....He looked up to see a group of Elven Swordsman practicing.....This would be fun he thought.
Enjoi walks up to the elf who was clearly teaching the group. And watches him. The Swordsman teacher Spotted Enjoi watching him. "Hello good elf, what may i do for you"
"I was wondering if you mind seeing if my swordsman needs 'reworking,' do you mind" Enjoi said with a grin.
"not at all" The instructar throws enjoi a play sword and charges. Enjoi side steps him. He blocks blow after blow, dodges and dodges. Each trying to outwit the other. The instrutor takes a lunge, over exerting himself. Enjoi spins around the blow and thrust the wooden sword at his throat. The Elf drops his swords and with a smile says "Your foot speed needs a little work." with a laugh they both go to the tavern..

Elesar found his sister Idril singing with a group of elves by the trees beside the waterfall of Rivendell. "Idril!" he called, With that the female elf turned around sharply. "Brother!" she cried, and the ran to eachother. They had not seen eachother in almost a decade because of Elesars travels with his men at Eryn Vorn and other expeditions like the one he was currently on. They went and found a place to sit and they chatted for long hours about what Elesar had done and was about to do.

Elrohir walked out of the stuffy little room with Elrond by his side, Elrond then turned to Elrohir and spoke, "As i said before, i agree with your decision greatly, it is a wise one indeed. I will go fetch some, erm, "special" supplies for you." Elrohir knew instantly that Elrond was going to fetch some sort of ancient magic weapons and potions. He smiled widely.
Elrohir walked over to the balcony and leaned over the edge slightly, gazing down at the blissful waters far below. He longed to go swimming in it, but he didnt have time for that. After that he walked over and saw Merwin in a room by himself, he was fiddling with something over what looked like some dry wood and straw. He peered round to see what and saw a piece of flint in his hand, he was bashing it against another rock to make fire. Elrohir smiled and walked up to him, "Merwin, what have i told you about this kind of thing. You really need to stop trying to fool people. Come, come with me to the tavern, at least there you can have some fun without having to bash rocks together." Elrohir lead him up the path towards the Tavern.

Merwin said,"I do not like it here, I will be going." and ran off. He ran and bumped into his loud-mouthed 2nd cousin."Merwin! Is that you!?" he yelled. Lord Elrond came down from a staircase and escorted mrwin to his quarters, where they sat down and started to chat...
