Hey! I really dislike the idea of Permanant Death! If you have had a charater for a LOOOOOOONG time and suddenly he is killed, then you would probly be really angry and be put off the game. I really wouldn't want to creat a new character every time I die . If they do inroduce permanant death, people wouldn't engage in combat often as they would be scared incase they lose their character. Say you were a crafter and he was extreamly good at crafting, then he was killed, you would have to create a new character and re-train. This would be incredibly aggravating! Whats your veiws on Permanant Death?

i would really hate it, to have spend like 5 months on a character just to have him being killed and have to start over.

Yeah, and Kinships would lose track of thie members. When they are killed they have to make a completly new character and rename it ect.

If they do, do it, then we'd just have to watch out backs more carefully. Or watch eachothers backs more carefully .

MeoS: What happens when I die? CT: You don’t die. You never die. You just get defeated. You get knocked unconscious or wounded, weary and tired. If you are out soloing by yourself, and you get defeated, you are going to reappear at a safe location. Nearby, depending on where you wanted to come back. Great no permanant death!!! But............. MeoS: Will there be surnames and/or titles? CT: Yes, sort of ... we've talked about it. A reward for a piticular quest may be that you earn a title. Surnames will be part of your Kinships. So as you join a Kinship you will gain the surname of the Kinship. For example, the family Baggins. If you were to join the Kinship Baggins, everyone would have the name Baggins. MeoS: What about a Kinship with a name like "Knights of Middle-Earth"? CT: That's are more guild specific name, we may allow you to put a sub-title on there under your Kinship, which would be like your guild name. Cool, thanks for that. Great link!!!
I personally think that PD is not a good idea as some people may lose interest if they die. Therefore, I think people should be knocked out and either healed in the field or taken back to the Kinship House. If they are healed in the field then when they rise they should have a penalty to their stats. If they are taken home then they can either rise when fully healed or rise earlier with a penalty to their stats again.

Therefore we have to have Kinship surnames, but it can't be Elven Warriors of Fangorn Forrest, that can only be used as a sub-heading . But we'll wait and see........

they said that maybe they will have a PvP part in the none PvP server, but only time will tell. They dont want high level characters to kill low level ones, that is why (obviously) they made two servers, one for PvP only, and one that is mainly no PvP.

I heard that there will only be one server, and that you cannot have PvP in towns and other designated areas, but out in the wild I.E forests, you can do whatever you like.

Perma death is not happening, as has been shown. As for the servers all the other details of the game, we've got a year to go to wait, so try and have some patience . Hehe..yeah.
