Hi, Has anyone ever played the RPG game Morrowind? well in that game u can take\steal just about anything u see, and it just adds to your invertory..(then u can sell them and so on...)of course if you are caught you are put in jail. Well, is it going to be like that in MEO? are you going to be able to take just about anything? Another question i have..is there going to be a like "first person" point of view? or the character is just seen from the 3d person?..and is the fighting goint to be like a final fantasy game? like u pick ur attacks and stuff...or do you fight like any normal game? Well thanx for your time Elros

I would point you to MAW's FAQ for those questions. Simply hit Ctr+F, and type in whatever you're looking to find (a keyword will do), and so on. They haven't mentioned anything about stealing, I believe, but the fighting system is going to be real-time, if I remember correctly.

Yeah there will be real time combat which is gonna rule!!!! but they might have a limit on stealing or maybe you won't be able to do it at all. Imagine this:
you have been saving your money up for ages and you are the richestc person on the game but you decide to spend it all on this beautiful mithril bladed sword, hand crafted by the elves of rivendell. It's hilt is made out of pure gold with jewels encrusted into its sides. You put it into its leather and gold scabbard and you proudly walk out of the gates of rivendell with it. You have been travelling for 5 minutes when a smelly, grubby little dwarf jumps out of the bushes, swipes the sword and runs off. Leaving you very poor and looking like a pillock.

I think, in MAW's FAQ, he says there will be no stealing. Not sure on that one..I'll check it out later (after school).

And we wouldn't do it anyway because we're good elves.

This is true, but it is a big factor to worry about having things stolen from you, which is what I think Elros was trying to say.

I'm almost certain you won't be able to steal from real players but possibly NPCs. But player stealing will not happen.

i dont think so cos ALL stealing is wrong.(if its from good people, rich or poor.)
we shud only steal from the evil kinships/clans.

i dunno.
i think it should only be wrong if its from good or neutral kinships.
we should be able to steal from evil, i hope.

Well, the game hasn't said anything about not stealing.
Our kinship, however, is not stealing..but the non-kinship people have not been told they cannot steal, so everyone knows.
