I just voted. I felt sorry for the underdog, The Hobbit. I read the Hobbit first, and wouldn’t have had it any other way. I was sad when I finished it because it was over. Then some kind soul said that there were other books in the series. I have been obsessed ever since.

Not the most thriling no. But the Hobbit was a great book and i read it twice back to back for some reason. It was a brilliant book.

It would be very hard to top LOTR, it's an extremly good book and most writers are noting, Tolkien made up his own universe! I mean he made elvish and everything, such a skilled writer

Yeah. In his autobiography i read he did it to make up his own Mythology. You should read the Autobiography. Very interesting.

My mate had a book of the world of Tolkien. It was excellent. It may be the one you said. It was excellent. Absoulutly every think he ever wrote about was in it. It was super.
