I know the kinship is mainly Elven Scout Archers, with a couple swords, but why no Sages (Sorcerers)? I think I read that they have healing spells and wouldn't that go with the kinship philosophy? I don't think it hurts to have a few spellcasters backing up the arrow barrages

Oh, we will, trust me. Most people are jumping for the other thing, but we do have a year or so to go, and we'll definetely have memebers who want to fill the sage class, if not then we can always ask a few members to be sages.

Sages are Humans aren't they :S? Oh, well I am sure there will be an Elven class along the lines of a Sage....We'll probly (I know it has been discussed) Blacksmiths, Reconnissance/ Spies (I think spies were ruled out by the High Council or were they not?). We could even have Cavalry , that would rule. Or the leaders could have Horses, to make them stand out, or if in danger flee faster??? I dunno..

Well, like you said we're talking about Elves who can use magic (they're probably going to let that go), so they'd be like a sage. As for the other stuff, that's kinship related.

I think that they will definately have an elven magic person as elves were the best at it (apart from wizards) So it'll probably be called a healer or an eldar or something but they will have magic elves. But i like the ideas of being a healer.

I wonder if they will have different schools of Sages, like Conjurer, Necromancer (I think that is a bit OTT for MEO though) ect. As magic use was rare, I think they should keep it simple. It is annoying when you are in a battle on an RPG game, then some mage summons 10 Earth Elementals..........or is that just me ;D.

I don't think they'll go too over the top and i definately don't think you'll be able to summon elementals and stuff like that. But theres still lots of time for the DEVs to come up with more classes and sub classes.

They should include Lore-mastering and identifying items, reading runes and other scripts ect. That would be pretty cool, or even an alcemist class and use potions and things, but that is just me thinkinh away.

I think that if there were elves that could read runes, scripts, etc., it would be too complicated for the developers because it would be a lot easier to just have elves to heal and use some magic attacks. we should have a few elf sages if they create any to help out in the kinship, but we can discuss these matters later since we have a while before the game actually comes out.

But like i always say. We can toss our dreams about and think and speculate about things long before the release date.

But like i always say. We can toss our dreams about and think and speculate about things long before the release date. And get into arguments over petty things (as will happen, but it speeds it up) when they're not needed? I've gotten into a few minor "scuffles," if you will, over sensless things that weren't even needed to be discussed. Ah well.
