Multi-classing would be good but if you were an elf what could you multi-class? What classes do us elves get? Ranger (archer) and fighter but thats about it.

I guess we need to wait for dev to release more info, as usual , but I’m guessing that Elves would have a good healer class. That is my opinion, which probably means that I’m wrong. But it would be nice to have a good fighter/healer in the group.

We will, just be a little more patient. There'll be plenty of classes, I hope, to chose from.

There should be magic users for each race. Galdrial had said that elves had a sort of magic, example: the mirror if Galadriel . And the Dwarves used magic that was mentioned in the Hobbit, such as their doors. To stay true to Tolkien, the would have to give each race at least some magical skill.

Hmmmmm I guess so but what would we have? Probably some sort of healing magic or holy shield or somthing along those lines, thats the only thing I don't like about being an elf, I really like using magic but the elves don't have much but I can live without it.

Elven magic in the books seem to be rather subtle. Very little magic seams to be very obvious. Even the Three Rings of Power were incredibly strong, but they didn’t make it obvious about what they did. Take Galdalf, his ring gave men courage. This helped at Minas Tirith, but the effect wasn’t obvious

I think the power of the rings was over exaggerated, it doesn't seem like any of the races in Middle Earth had much magic as all the fighting is meele or ranged combat, the wizards didn't even seem to have magic that was very powerful I guees Tolkien's imagination didn't have room for much magic.

No, the magic is there. But in much more subtle forms and uses. There's nothing like casting lightning bolts or fireballs or what not. There is magic in songs, for example, the Lay of Leithian tells of the battle between Sauron and Finrod Felagund, "He chanted a song of wizardy/Of piercing, opening, of treachery,/Revealing, uncovering, betraying/Then suddenly Felagund there swaying/Sang in answer a song of staying/Resisting, battling against power/Of secrets kept, strength like a tower/...."

Yeah thats what we're saying, any magic there is is very subtle and can't cause mass destruction, Tolkien went for the holy type of magic like songs and healing as Galdor said to me he was a catholic which would have changed the way he thought about things.
