Humm…haven’t thought of that. There was that black arrow in the Hobbit, that might be considered legendary. I was thinking more on the lines of a legendary bow sort of like Susan’s in C.S. Lewis’ Narnia series. It would be nice if we could get some poisoned arrows, now that would also be a nice touch.

Yea, enchanted arrows would be a good idea... Sorry but once again im going to refer to my Dark Elf Series, lol. In the books the drow have handheld crossbows that are dipped in poison, that instantly put the victim to sleep. Well almost, and some are more resilient than other, but first it takes like 30 seconds and your whole body starts to become numb, and then after like 1-2 minutes your completely asleep. This would be cool, but i feel it would be hard to implement in the game, so just poison arrows that drain health faster would suffice, i guess, lol. Also I was thinking, magical arrows/bow that the arrows would be very powerful, and whenever you used one, a short time later, maybe a minute or 2, they would return to the quiver.... of course this would be a very very expensive thing to buy. or possibly something you can only find and is very rare, yet i feel it would be worth everything you do to get it, lol.

The problem for that would be the Dev’s reliance on the LotR lore, if they do make arrows that come back to the bow, there would be quite a few hard core LotR fans who would complain about that in the official forums and such. My constant referencing to the books is probably annoying every one now, but there was no such thing in the books. One might be able to make a case that Tolkien used a lot of Norse mythology, and Thor’s magic hammer could come into play, but that would be a weak argument.

God sake, it takes like 10 minutes just to read one of your posts, Valadil and Galdor. ;D You post the longest posts on these forums...and every other forum i know.
Anyway, thats a good point Galdor, arrows that return to the shooter probably wouldnt be good cause of the amount of hardcore fans that would rebel against the idea. But still, poison and fire arrows would be a very good, realistic, touch.

I see no problem with poisend arrows, they would fit in well with the Tolkien lore to. I don’t remember much in the way of elves using poisened arrows, but orcs certanly did. And elves didn’t think twice about shooting the weapons of the enemy back at them. We would probably get most of those arrows from orc drops and booty laying around in caves.

Hmm, dunno about that one, im sure Galdor will know though.
Being able to pick up orc arrows would be good too, but if the game uses certain weapon stats ,(like each arrow has different attack power) and orc arrows are easy to find, then i cant imagine that orcish arrows will be of too much use.
Also, Blackheart, where'd you get your sig?

Hmm ok, i dont mean to sound rude or anything, but i dont really like your sig. Its too bold and...well its too oversized. I can make you one if you want, but that is if you want one, cause i dont know if the sig you got now is fine for you.

Ok, ill put your one on the to-do list aswell. But i still have to get photoshop again cause i re-formatted my comp. Also, i have 2 other sig requests going so you might have to wait a little while.
You can always ask Amras to make you one, i dont believe he has any requests at the moment. But i do think he has some comp problems at the mo.

how do you make sigs? and how do you get them?

Well, you can get free sigs at some websites, but the problem with that is they're not unique. If you get a custom made one (or make it yourself) then you get a unique one.
You make sigs in a program called Photoshop, at least, thats what most people use, there are other programs to use, but most arn't as good.
