Just wondering how do they make fire in LOTR? It's really anoying me now and DON'T say rub two sticks together because they would need to do that for ALL of the fire in Middl-Earth, they might do that for camp fires but I mean torches in castles and stuff.

Well, in the hobbit, dwarves used tinder boxes because they didn’t like matches.

Im not too sure on this one but i think i have an idea off how they work. Dont they have a bundle of something that catches fire and roll a metal pipe that goes into it. It heats it up and it catches fire. Thats what i think.
