I just started off this thread so that we can all improve our knowledge of Elvish. By the way i would prefer it if we used Sindarin elvish as i prefer it. But QUENYA is also good. First of all we all know that mae govannen means well met. visit this site to help you further understand your knowledge of Elvish and if you see any good words or phrases then post them up. But remember can we stick to sindarin preferedly or QUENYA. But say which you are using. www.ardalambion.com/

Download a program called Dragon Fire (I think, I uninstalled it), I also cannot remeber the URL so bah . But it is a really good program with Elvish - English and English - Elvish.

But what type of Elvish. Their are many types. Also it may not have been Tolkien elvish and even if it were who knows what it could have been. But anyway who knows some good words or phrases?

Hey all, wouldn't it be more fitting if we, instead of Herio!, used Tandago haid! Leithio i philinn! first when going into combat? It means "Hold positions! Release the arrows!" Rather more fitting I think for Elves than for Men.

This is exactly the same as the Elvish thread so we'll discuss it in there.
