I've decided to make a Frequently Asked Questions thread, because this way we can answer any questions you have.
1) What do the Elven Warriors of Fangorn Forest fight for?
We fight for the protection of the innocent, against evil, and for peace in Middle-Earth.
2) Where will we be located until Fangorn is available?
We will be moving throughout the lands, as the expansions come out; most likely starting in Rivendell, and heading East from there.
3) Who can apply?
Any Elf who is fighting for good; our basic requirements are: Skill with a bow, secondary skill with a sword, and skill in healing.
4) Will there be sword-wielding Elves in the kinship as well?
We said that we would prefer Elves who have mastered the bow, over Elves who have mastered swords; but we might want around 5-10 (the number may increase as the limit of our kinship does; for now I'll say around 1/3 of the kinship) Elves who fight primarily with swords, yet still are masters at the bow as well.
5) But I thought there weren't Elves in Fangorn?
Well, there are now. And, if my memory serves me, Elves once resided in Fangorn long ago, then moved to other regions (such as Mirkwood, I believe.).
6) How large will the kinship be?
We are planning on having up to 30 members, as of now. That number may go up, or down, depending.
7) I'm in another kinship; but I think my leader wants to forge an alliance with you. What should we do to ensure an alliance?
As of now, we aren't accepting alliances. We would like to see who offers an alliance with us, and pick the ones that will suit both our kinships best. But, you can still offer forth an alliance; the sooner we get them, the sooner we review them to decide. Go to our "Other Kinship Members" board, and go to the "Suggest an Alliance" thread, and let us know you're interested.
8) Are you the same Elves who fought at Helm's Deep?
A good question, but, unfortunately, no. We aren't the elves that took place in the Battle For Helm's Deep, simply because there were none (in the books). The elves in the film were added by Peter Jackson to make the storyline more interesting. If the game was to be based on the films, then we would not be the elves that went to Helm's Deep; we would only be related to them through bloodline. However, we do have a similar mission to them, to help Rohan and Gondor aainst the threat of Saruman. Hope this doesn't make us less interesting .

9) How can I prove myself after I have applied?
This is a pretty easy one. All you have to do is make sure any and all of your posts are constructive, intelligent and well thought-out, so no one-liners, no grammatically incorrect posts, [definitely] no l33t/d3wd speak allowed. At all.
10) Do I need to speak any form of elvish to be able to join?
No, as I myself cannot speak elvish, however I would like to learn and am hoping to be able to get lessons soon.
11) What happens if I leave the kinship? Can I rejoin?
No, as you made the decision yourself, whether by leaving or by being inactive. So basically it's tough.
12) Is there just one large group, or different groups within the kinship?
This is a pretty personal question, so I'll just say that there are various different teams withing the kinship, each with different roles to do.
This will be updated as more questions arise, for now, this will be closed to the public. You can ask any questions on the other thread, so that this thread can remain just FAQ. Thanks.
