Its about the creation of Arda and the beginning of time. Its a wonderful book that any Tolkien fan should read. Although it is very sad.

The Sil is a definite must read for any Tolkien fan, though not everybody seems to be able to read it all. It sort of has a flavor of a history book, or parts of the Old Testament. The book is full of tragedies, my favorites are about Beren and Luithean, and Turin.

My favorite part was when Fingolfin rode to fight Morgoth himself. The book said that when people saw him they thought he was a Valar! Though he died

I like it when Turin starts to talk to his sword, and it answers. I always thought that it was cool, but I can’t decide that if he was nuts, or it actually told him to kill himself.

A 5 month waiting line? If you can’t find one at the stores, there is always Amazon or Ebay. I don’t know where you can download them though.
