Yeah I guess so, axes are just big meele weapons, you don't need skill to use them, that's why dwarves use them Lol

Lol it would be funny to see a Dwarf fighting like Legolas, I guess everybody thinks they all have big axes, steriotipical if you ask me.

Yeah just like everybody imagines an Elf with a bow, I guess it's just the image that's been placed there by so many things, like on Warcraft the Night Elves all have bows, well, most of them have some sort of long ranged weapon.

Thats a good point, even the melee units on Warcraft 3 for elves is a ranged unit (so its not really a melee, its just the substitute pf a melee for the Night Elves as it has very short range).
Personally i think Elves are best suited to bows anyway, they're nimble, fast, skilled and they travel lightly.
What better race for an archer could you hope for? ;D

Oh and dont forget Elves have far superior eyesight. How do you think the Developers will make this in the game. Better targeting?

Mabye Elves will be able to see in the dark better then other races. That would definately give us an edge in combat. We could ambus enemies in the dark and they wont know what hit them. ;D

Yeah. Maybe they will have a "targeting reticle". In other races, it move around when moving. But with us it stays VERY accurate.

Yeah, that might be a good idea to put in the game, so you dont have to buy all new ones. They could do it like, sometimes when you fire them though, they break, or they're stuck or something, so you cant get them all back, and are forced to buy at least a few new arrows, that way keeping the cash flowing through the game

Yes, that does sound like a very good idea Aninduil. It would be great if you could get your arrow back after shooting the enemy. But i dopnt think that it should have the chances of breaking, cause it would be a big enough risk if your an archer to go into the battlefield and actually pick up your arrow, being an archer would mean that you have low defence which would mean that you would suck verses melee, and killed easily. So i think that if you manage to get to your arrow in the battle, that you would get it no matter what. But so it isnt too unfair, the arrows (along with the bodies) would dissapear shortly after the battle has finished, so you couldnt just run to your arrow after the battle and get your entire crates worth of ammunition back.

thanks for the complements, but if they did break you would have to go buy new ones. i guess your right Elrohir, they prob would dissaper, but with the ungaurded thing, i meant when the battle was finished. but thanks still

Even though we would have to get new arrows sometimes, it would still be a good thing if they break. It would add to the realism, if you killed a troll with a huge volley of arrows, I would expect more than a few arrows to snap and shatter. The more realism in the game the better.

Yeah. But maybe they will have a pressure kind of thing. You would pull it to as hard as you want, and then let go. If you pull it to the top of the meter, the arrow would be stronger, piercing hard armour. But will be slow.
Or you could just tap the button and you will fire faster, but wont peirce hard armour. But when you do it harder, it is more likely to break.
Just to add a touch of realism.

Yep, but i dont think if you pulled it back further, it would go slow, cause that way it wouldnt pierce armour anyway...
But yes, i suppose arrows breaking would add some realism to the game, which is always good.

I didn't mean slow, i meant that the rate of fire is slow.
But amagine how many variables there are for the game.
