Both Galdalf and Treebeard hinted that the Uruk-hia were a species that came from the breeding of humans and orcs together. Some descendants took after the orc side, and became the Uruk-hia. The mixture of human blood allowed them to move in the sunlight. Others took after the human side, and became the southerners that plagued Hobbiton under a certain fallen wizard.

Well, I’m pretty sure that is what happened, Tolkien certainly implied it in the TT and RotK. But there’s bound to be people who have their own ideas about where the Uruk-hia came from.

Orcs are fallen elves. I do have an idea how they mixed orcs and humans though. But it is a little disturbing. Lets just say orcs reproduce the same way every other animal does.

No, that is not what happened. Melkor AKA morgoth AKA saurons boss. Captured Elves and totured them, never to death but close to it. So much pain and agony slowly corrupted them untill hate filled them and a love for there master.
That would not happen at all, First off i think ANY Elf maiden would actually fight to the death than actually let them "have there way" with her.
It can be suggested since orcs are corrupted Elves, they reproduce in the same manner as them. And we have recorded Peredhel (half-elven). We can suggest that men can be breeded together.
That is sick though...it gives me the creeps.....

I seem to have been misunderstood. It is without a doubt that Morgoth corrupted the elves to produce orcs, how he managed that I don’t have the slightest idea. What Saruman did was breed the orcs with humans.

yeah uruk hair are orcs and humans. I think Saruman used some of the wild men of Dunland to breed them, but in the movie Aragorn said that they were orcs and Goblins bred together which just made no sense.

I suppose orcs breeding with goblins makes more orcs?
